January 2016 The company’s name was changed to UEI Corporation.
March 2012 Exhibits for the first time at the 2012 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, the world’s largest event for game creators.
February 2012 Receives third-party allocation of shares from D2 Communications. This brought capital stock to 294 million yen (reserve capital being 273 million yen).
September 2011 Receives third-party allocation of shares from JAFCO Co., Ltd.
April 2011 enchant.js  Releases the open source HTML5 game engine library enchant.js. enchant.js
April 2011 9leap  Launches 9leap, a contest for young game developers, in collaboration with D2 Communications.
March 2010 クリムゾンフォックス  Releases augmented reality (AR) app “Crimson Fox” for iPhone 3GS, and sponsored the concurrent event “Crimson Fox: Find the Hidden Codes in Shibuya!” featuring an AR scavenger hunt in Shibuya.
